At Dog & Kitty City, we are thankful for

• Our staff who care for these animals;
• Our dedicated volunteers who give so generously of their time and energy:
  • The Adopt-A-Pet team who take the dogs off site every Saturday to find their forever homes;
  • The LuvAPet team who help the kitties find that permanent place;
  • The socializers who come to the shelter and bring 'a touch of home' to all the animals in our care;
  • The foster moms and dads who tend to special needs animals;
  • The webmeisters who gave us this spectacular web site;
  • The photographers who capture the charm of every animal in our care.
• Our sustaining members who consistently support the shelter;
• Petsmart for hosting our Adopt-A-Pets and our Luv-A-Pet Center;
• The Dallas Morning News and all the media for telling this wonderful city our recent plight;
• The generous citizens of north Texas who lifted our burden and responded with food, beds, toys, volunteer hours, adoption applications and money.
