We are always proud and happy to recognize our city's youngest citizens, who start early being community minded and supporting others in need. Here are four youngsters who make us proud.

Kristina is working toward her Girl Scout Silver Award (Troop 603). She made fleece tie blankets for rescue organizations and came to visit the shelter and present these wonderful gifts. The cats seems pretty happy with their gifts!

Ashley, Kayley and Kathrin told their mom they wanted to help the animals and managed to raise $23 for the shelter. They came to visit and present their wonderful gift. Everyone, especially the cats, had a wonderful time.
