Writing to tell you Gertie is doing splendidly well. We were rather surprised at how easily she acclimated to our family. She has brought nothing but pure joy and we are delighted to have her. She still loves to run, play, and chew. Also, she has learned how to fetch and come when she is called. We take her with us everywhere, including shopping and the dog park. We love her so much.
Just wanted to let ya’ll know that Jackson is doing great (pic attached). I could not have asked for a better kitty or a better adjustment period with the other cats. He still sneezes just a little, but other than that, he is just perfect. And I do mean just perfect. He purrs and purrs every time you touch him. Most of the time he plays with the other kitties but he can also entertain himself. Then when he gets tired, he curls up in your lap and goes to sleep. So sweet! And you barely have to discipline him. All you have to do is say no and he stops doing whatever it is. He had his final shots last Friday and he’s scheduled for the neuter next month. (I’ll be a nervous wreck that day!) Just wanted to give you guys an update. Have a great week!
We just recently moved from an apartment into a house and these two just love running up and down the halls!
Max is a character always hiding under the table and chairs while Ruby just throws herself anywhere! They sure do let people know that this is THEIR house. Ruby is our little cuddle buddy on mommie's belly (they have a sister on the way!) and Max owns the couch, every morning you sure can hear them wide awake and playing with their jingle balls working up an appetite. Every morning we get out of bed they are pawing/jumping/meowing and running to their food bowls.
We love our little munchkins and we wouldn’t have such loving and amazing animals if it hadn't been for y'all. Thank y'all so much! They sure are some happy cats and have a FOREVER home! We are looking forward to many more years with these two!
Almost 2 years ago, I adopted Able (now Captain Coconut) and Payton (now Major Marshmallow). I thought I would send you all an update and let you know how great they are doing.
Coconut was an ornery little guy, and while he still retains some of that, he has come to crave human attention. I often find him sitting on my chest in the morning when I wake up, just waiting for me to scratch his ears.
Marshmallow was a sweetheart from the beginning. He was a little insecure at first and would whine and cry when I left the room for even a moment. He’s still a bit of a mama’s boy, but is independent enough that he even uses the doggie door to let himself out now! (Coconut still finds the flap a little too scary.) He has grown a lot, from 8 pounds when I adopted him to 14 pounds now. Mostly ears.
I wanted to thank you all for helping me find my two little canine soulmates. They are happy and healthy and wanted me to tell you all “HELLO!” I’ve attached recent pictures of them for your enjoyment.
