Our organization exists completely on donations from individuals and corporations. We do not receive help from any government or animal sponsored programs. Tax deductible donations are accepted in the form of cash, check, any major credit card and PayPal. Checks can be made payable to:

Monthly Donor Program
We can charge your credit card for a pre-selected $ amount of your choice on the 15th of each month. This is an easy and convenient way to support our shelter. Fill out the printable membership form and select the amount you would like to deduct each month.
Please remember the Dog & Kitty City shelter in your will.
The Guardian Angel Program is available to individuals and businesses through monthly or annual tax deductible donations which help defray the costs of caring for certain animals until they can be adopted. This program is specifically designed for those animals who are "difficult to adopt".

A gift "in-kind" refers to a gift of goods or services. Donating printing, advertising, carpentry or painting services to the shelter or events are a few examples.
Donate usable household goods to our thrift store. You may drop off your donation or call 972.557.3476 for pick up. Donors will be issued a receipt for tax purposes.
Kroger's Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program for the benefit of nonprofit organizations started again on July 1st. The Humane Society of Dallas County is participating too! You can help us by connecting our barcode with your Kroger Plus Card, so that every time you shop using the card Kroger will contribute a percentage from your eligible purchases to the donation fund. Please follow the instructions in this flier - just print it and show it to the cashier on your next shopping trip. You can help our animals by doing your usual shopping, isn't that neat?
ApartmentWiz - Locate Pet Friendly Apartments in Texas
Search for pet-friendly apartments. Areas for free apartment locating include Houston, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. ApartmentWiz donates to Dog & Kitty City $5 per user that submits to their website and $45 when a user from dognkittycity.org leases an apartment.

Tom Thumb donates 1% of its customers' purchases to the charity of their choice. Please consider applying to have your customer loyalty card linked to Dog & Kitty City. You can link your card to us by writing #1567 in the space provided on the application.
Lower Your Taxes!
Dog & Kitty City is now one of the charitable organizations participating in the Charity Motors Car Donation Program. People can donate a car they no longer want/need, receive a tax deduction, and designate Dog & Kitty City to receive the proceeds from the sale of their car.
