On Saturday, December 13th, Rawlins Gilliland (writer, NPR commentator and animal lover) joined us at DKC for the 2008 Holiday Raffle drawing. Assisted by Honey, his rescue pup, and two Highland Park High School volunteers, he announced the following winners:

Volunteers contacted the winners and will deliver their prizes in time for the holiday.

Congratulations to our winners and many thanks to the supporters who donated the prizes to make the raffle a success.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who sold tickets and earned $8000 toward keeping our furry friends warm this winter.

A special thank you to Pat Rodriguez and the South West Animal Luvers, who sold the most tickets. Santa personally congratulated Pat on this accomplishment and awarded a $50 gift certificate at Primo's.
