North Shore Animal League America, based in Port Washington, New York, is the world's largest no kill animal rescue and adoption agency. Eleven years ago, they launched their Tour for Life, a mobile adoption promotion that moves across the country to help place pets into loving permanent homes.

Tour for Life is the world's largest cooperative national adoption initiative aimed at reinforcing the importance and advantages of shelter pet adoptions, while promoting local shelters in their community.

The mobile tour will be in Dallas on Thursday April 7th at the Petco location, 5301 Beltline, from noon until 6:00 pm. Our staff and volunteers will be there, along with sister rescues Paws in the City, Lone Star Pyrs and Paws Rescue, Texas Collie Rescue, A Different Breed and Texas Cares.

We support this national initiative and hope you will find time to visit the event and meet some of the beautiful adoptable rescue animals of the metroplex.
