On April 16th, Coombs Creek Trail was the site of the 3rd Annual East Kessler Pet Parade and Fundraiser! Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, turtles, hamsters, etc. were all invited to strut their stuff in front of the judges for awards including Best Dressed, Best Fur Do, Best Trick, Best Pet & Peep Look Alike and Congeniality.

East Kessler Park Neighborhood Association adopted Dog & Kitty City for this event so volunteers accompanied Ulysses, Sage and Levi to the event. What can we say about Levi other than he (literally) stole the show. After all the awards had been handed out, the announcer said that the judges had created a special award for one of the dogs who didn't fit any of the other categories -- "Best in Show", and Levi was named the winner!

It was a great event and we are so grateful to the East Kessler Park Association for honoring us as their adopted shelter and including us in their neighborhood event!!!
