Early in 2011, Michael contacted the shelter about a sweet, handsome Siamese stray. Simon needed help in finding his forever home. We took sweet Simon (who has found that home!!).

In April, Michael's company, Sabre Holdings in Southlake, was organizing their "Give Together" compaign, volunteering for local non-profits. He came to us and asked if we had a group opportunity for them. He had a team with 'varied skills.'

The storage sheds needed reshingling and this marvelous team agreed to that project and had the wherewithall to get it done. Shelter Director Sandra applauded this team as "better than Habitat for Humanity" with their professionalism and skills. The roof looks great!!!

They also pitched in and cleaned up the yard and really gave it their all for the shelter. Before their day was done, they had time to visit with the dogs and cats at the shelter...a little quality time for everyone involved.

Thanks, Michael (and your team), for rescuing Simon and then stepping up for a project on Simon's behalf!! This was a proud "Give Together" effort!
