Junior volunteer extraordinaire Emily had a school project to complete and came to the shelter to paint. Staff turned her loose in the front room. She worked all week to complete this bright and cheery room. Check out this fantastic job!

Handmade Gifts from Junior Girl Scout Troop 241

Last summer Amber brought her Junior Girl Scout Troop 241 to visit the shelter. They socialized and learned about shelter animals and their care. Over the winter, they worked on their Bronze Award, making blankets and collars for the animals. They visited again recently to bring their wonderful gifts and made a lot of animals very happy. We give them a Gold Star to go with their Bronze Award!!
