Update on 3/29/2013: A picture is worth a thousand words! You can see pretty Adele is healing nicely and has a whole new look.
She is so grateful for your support and the Guardian Angels who helped give her a second chance.

Adele is a french bulldog mix that was turned in to Dallas Animal Services and they asked for a rescue group to help her. This 3 year old weighs 39.8 pounds, a short and curvy kind of gal!
She was attacked by another dog -- as well as maced (by someone trying to break up the fight?)! She has a large laceration on her left axilla which was cleaned and sutured with a drain tube installed. She also has an injury to the carilage in her right ear. It appears that the ear had been pulled away from the head, causing cartilage damage, which will most likely require surgery to repair. It is seriously infected, so this is the focus of her initial care.
Adele is a really sweet girl, submissive and adorable! She just needs some help to get through all of this. She is ready to get healed and put the past behind her!
She is resting comfortably, but would love a Guardian Angel or two so she can have all the best care available.
Please join us every Saturday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at PetSmart in Dallas (@Inwood and Forest) and help get our Fidos adopted! Even if you can't volunteer for the whole day, please consider transporting the dogs!
