DOB 2007

 

Aragon is a sweet and playful great Pyr. He came to us from a kill shelter and we don't know how anyone could have wanted to, gulp, you know! Aragon is a big dog, perhaps weighing in at 100 lbs (he's a little thin now) so he'll need someone who knows what to expect in a big dog and can give him the space and exercise he needs.

 

Aragon is gentle and affectionate. He takes treats well and gives a wag of his tail easily. He knows how to sit and learns fast. With all that hair, a good owner is one that will brush him regularly to keep his fur looking fabulous.

 

The great Pyr breed is a strong-willed and independent dog. A novice dog owner is likely not a good match for Aragon. That aside, for the right owner, Aragon is a gem of a dog, fit for a king or even the human dog lover!
