Sweet, shy Rusty came to the shelter in 2000 with his sister, Patches. He is very selective about his friends, but will "flirt" with you to invite you to give him a tickle. He leads you to his one favorite spot on a shelf, where he is at eye level with you. Then the tickle can begin.
He is very responsive to a gentle touch and a gentle word and purrs happily when you are the one giving him attention.
He needs patience, but will pay you back generously for loving him.
