Buddy has been with his current family since he was a puppy but because of financial issues, they must find a new home for him.
Buddy is a Bloodhound/Labrador mix. Bloodhound and Labrador breeds are by nature affectionate and even-tempered and make excellent family pets. They are fun loving and athletic but daily exercise is a must. Buddy has the look of both breeds, is extremely smart and knows some basic commands and loves to play fetch – in fact, he will play fetch with you all day!!!
Buddy is good with adults, older children and larger dogs but like any large breed, he might require supervision around smaller dogs and small children. Buddy loves being outside, gets along with the family cats, is kennel trained and house trained - he sleeps inside in his kennel at night and during excessively hot, cold or stormy weather.
Buddy has a lot of love to give and if you are looking for a fun active dog, have the time and patience to give him attention, love and lots of exercise and in return get a loyal loving companion, please consider making room for this handsome guy in your family.
Buddy is at home and not at the shelter. Please contact Tricia Clements at
