Sweet Golden Boy was dropped at the shelter in February 2011 when he tested positive for FELV. He's a little shy, but welcomes gentle touches and attention.
FELV+ cats make wonderful pets and can live a comfortable life. The biggest challenge is to protect them from infection since their immune systems are compromised. They should not be housed with non-infected cats, but there is no reason you can't adopt two of the FELV+ cats!
