Daisy is about ten years of age and is a terrier mix.

She and her buddy Maggie have been neglected most of their lives - just put into a back yard and left to fend for themselves. Thankfully they had each other all those years! But it hasn't dampened Daisy's love of people at all.

Daisy is a very sweet, energetic girl who wants to be right next to you as much as possible. She doesn't care much about playing with other dogs, she just wants to be with her human. She would make a very lovable lap dog. Any petting and attention she gets just makes her melt in your hands. She is going through basic training in her foster home and is eager to please. She seems to be potty trained, since she hasn't had any accidents inside. She loves to hang out with the neighborhood kids when they get off the bus and are playing in front of her foster family’ house - anything to get extra pets.

Daisy is not at the shelter but in her foster home. It would be best if she could be adopted with her friend and companion Maggie since they have been together their entire lives. Their foster mom though believes they would do okay without the other if they were adopted into a home where they could live indoors and be part of the family.
