Sister and her “sister” Runner were rescued by a caring family after they were found running loose in their neighborhood. They were nurtured back to health and now they are ready for adoption.
Sister (she resembles a large Boston Terrier and weighs about 35 pounds) is smart, happy, outgoing, playful, curious and full of energy; she would do best in a active, busy home. She is not aggressive at all, gets along well with cats, loves to play with the children in the neighborhood and is submissive to other dogs – she knows "stay", "sit", "no", "food", and "walk"... working on "heel" and other commands; Sister has a terrier's hard-headed personality so her owner will need firm patience to show Sister who is boss but it doesn't take long for Sister to learn. This girl loves to play tug-of-war and to run - she is called "bat dog" because of her expressive ears.
Her foster family is working with Sister on her good doggie manners and teaching her what it is to be loved by a family. If you are looking for a fun active dog and want to give a very deserving girl a chance, Sister is the one.
Sister is in a foster home and not at the shelter and If you would like to meet or ask ther questions about her please contact
