 
DOB 6/08 Hi, my name is Cocoa - I was abandoned by my family and left to fend for myself a couple of months ago. My life on the streets ended when a nice lady saved me from the traffic on a busy street and let me stay in her home. I love to play with toys, go for walks and have a nice warm bed to sleep in at night. I’m very attentive and well behaved and almost 100% potty trained. I enjoyed playing with their dog, however they had cats and I became mesmerized by them, so I barked and barked at them, and they didn’t seem to like that. When they took off running, I thought it was a game and chased after them. Much to my dismay, they did not like playing with me. I think I’d rather be in a home with only dogs; cats are just too finicky for me. I’d be so grateful to find a permanent home where I can stay indoors—safe, comfortable, and loved, where I can be a loyal companion who brings joy to the people who love me.
