 
12/25/09 Zenyatta! This gorgeous dog is named after the thorougbred race horse by the same name. The horse Zenyatta is a big, beautiful animal and our Zenyatta is well, a whole lot smaller, but just as beautiful. Zenyatta came to our shelter when her owner decided she couldn't go to grad school and also have a pet. Maybe she thought Zenyatta would eat the books? No matter, we'll find a wonderful home for this sweetie. Zenyatta is a little shy when she first meets you. But, after some time, she will come up to you and want to be in your lap. She likes pets on the head and tummy rubs. She gets along with other dogs too. She's not a big dog at all, so apartment life would be fine for her. She's still young and so she needs still to work on good dog manners and new owners would need to make sure she got exercise and things to chew on. Come meet Zenyatta at Dog & Kitty City
