DOB July 2009 Arrived at shelter 8/6/2010 Georgia is such a sweet peach but she has not really had sweet times. Georgia came to the shelter after she was found injured (suffering from a broken leg) in mid-July of last year by someone who was running around a local lake. Georgia's leg has since healed and she would love to find her forever home. Sweet Georgia is a Labrador Retriever mix (one of the most popular breeds in the United States) and Georgia has all the characteristics of this wonderful breed. They are loyal, loving, affectionate and patient, making them great family dogs - highly intelligent, good-natured, very willing and eager to please - they love to play, have an excellent, reliable temperament and a great desire to enjoy life. Georgia is somewhat small in stature weighing between 35 and 40 solid pounds. A smart attentive girl, she walks very well on the leash, loves to play and has mastered the sit command. She is extremely affectionate, has a sweet disposition and as can be seen in her pictures, has an ever smiling look on her face. She gets very very wiggly when she sees her favorite volunteers come to the shelter. This sweet girl needs a home of her own, one where she is cared for and given lots of love and attention. She's young and very energetic and would do best in an active home. If you are looking for a special and loving dog, come see smiling Georgia at Dog & Kitty City | |||||||
