Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from the Humane Society of Dallas County!

Our top priority is the welfare and happiness of our animals. We usually have a variety of pets from which to choose. We will do our best to find a pet with whom our applicants are compatible. Finding a perfect match is important to us, the animal, and the future pet owner.

To adopt a pet:

You must be 21 years of age or older.

You must have some form of identification with your current address.

You must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household.

You must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for a pet.

You must complete the adoption application.

To foster pets:
