Gilbert isn’t the name that everyone has been calling me for 2 years, but my rescue Mommy found me on Gilbert Avenue so that’s my new name and I really like my new name! I need to find a new home and some really nice parents to take care of me – could that be you?

I’m really well behaved in the house and promise not to potty on your floors. I won’t chew on your shoes or furniture either, really! If you will let me sleep in your bed with you, I will, but I don’t mind having my own bed next to you. Learning new things is so much fun for me. I can already SIT, STAY and believe me, I understand when you tell me NO! I realize that I’m not a lap-dog, but all I really want to do is curl up with you for some lovin’. Please don’t worry if you already have a dog, I make friends with everyone!

Going for walks is my favorite thing to do in the whole wide world, except for you loving me. I could just walk, and walk and walk. Riding in the car is fun too – can I keep you company and ride with you?

I promise not to be any trouble – My only wish is to have a home of my own and to be taken care of by someone who loves me.
