BLUE (DOG)

Hi, I'm Blue, I am a gorgeous weimaraner/lab mix with beautiful dark blue grey fur which I'm told is quite unusual. I am 3-5 years old approximately and weigh 70 pounds.
My current foster mom found me on the side of the road in the cold weather and I was NOT in good shape. I was feeling really bad. I had every fecal worm imaginable, heartworms, ear mites and sarcoptic mange. I was skinny and losing my fur due to the mange. And I just itched all the time. I was miserable.
But now, I am on the road to recovery. I have been neutered, gotten all my shots, treated for the mange and mites (and my hair is growing back), and treated for all the worms including those nasty heartworms, and BOY am I feeling better.
I am now living with 3 other dogs. I like to play with them and I'm really good on a leash. I don't pull at all on walks. I had never been in a car and was apprehensive at first, but I've learned how to jump in and enjoy the ride.
My current home has a doggie door and I learned how to use it really fast. I'm told I'm very smart. I just learned SIT, DOWN, and STAY and am working on other commands and learning "house rules". This living in a house thing is just awesome. I'm really liking it.
I sleep on my very own doggie bed at night right by the human's bed and sleep soundly through the night. I met some kids the other day and gave them lots of kisses. They were cute.
I love to snuggle too. My foster folks say I'm like a teddy bear. I like to climb up on them and in between them for tummy rubs, but I give them kisses in return. Whenever I lay down, I usually cross my front legs (like you see in the picture). I'm a gentleman. I'm told it is very cute. I love my Buster Cube, Kongs
and stuffed toys. I know how to keep myself busy when I'm alone.
However, in my foster home, there is a CAT! Mom keeps telling me I can't chase the cat, but I can't imagine what else to do with a cat. So my mom is sad that she has to find another home for me, but I just cannot resist that cat, I really try to not chase him but when he runs, I can't help myself. And I'm sad too
because I really like living here. So I guess if you dont have a cat, I would LOVE to come live with you. I would be so grateful to find a home I can live in forever and someone to take good care of me. I'm waiting to meet you!
