My name is Taj, like the Taj Mahal in India. Not that I've ever been there. In fact, I had a home, but I had an exploring streak in me and I found myself on the streets and unfamilar ones at that. And, then, someone caught me and took me to a shelter. It was not so bad there, certainly no Taj Mahal, if you know what I mean. But my time "was up" they told me and I knew I needed some good luck. Which I got, and now I am at this shelter where they tell me they will do their best to get me a loving, responsible home.

I get along fine with other dogs, I like them a lot. I'm a young poochie, so I do the nutty things that dogs my age do. I love to romp and play, jump up and down, and chase things. I'm super friendly, I love new people and greet them with enthusiasm and sweet doggie kisses.

I would love a home where I can get walks, cuddles and pets. I promise to be a great and loyal companion.
