"Dusty" has a story unlike any of our other dogs! This precious girl was thrown over the fence at the shelter in the middle of the night. Can you imagine how scared she was? Not to mention that her leg was injured! The cowardly owners left a note with her advising that she had mostly been kept in crate. This is NO way for a young dog to learn how to live or learn. Dusty's leg is healing. Can you be the one to help heal her heart? She is very affectionate and craves love and attention. If you want a loyal dog that will worship you, this is your girl! She will remain smaller like a pocket pittie. Dusty loves to play with toys and she enjoys a dip in the shelter swimming pool. She is energetic and exuberant at first meeting. She is just so happy to see you and have attention. She will probably put her paws up on you until sweetly trained to do otherwise. Due to this, we do not recommend small children in her new home. Otherwise, she is perfect and eager to leave shelter life in her "dust"! Please set up a Meet and Greet!
$200 Adoption covers spay/neuter, microchip, and shots. All dogs are on Heart Worm Prevention or Treatment. The shelter requires that all adopters continue with Heart Worm Prevention.
