Whether you think of Top Gun or Basketball when you hear the name Maverick, both are great in our opinion! Our sweet "Mav" came to us as a Dallas stray dog. We don't know about his past, but we are certain his future will be fabulous! He is such a HAPPY GO LUCKY boy. Maverick loves to play fetch and loves playing in the yard with other dogs. He seems to like ALL humans and dogs alike!! We love this guy! He is great on a leash and excited about his walks. He already knows "sit" and seems very eager to learn. He is a great medium size! One thing that is for certain, he is absolutely adorable. All four feet are white and spotted. He also has a white pattern on his chest that looks like a butterfly. As handsome as he is, he is also going to be a loving, loyal, and affectionate companion! Please fill out an application and come meet Maverick!

$200 Adoption covers spay/neuter, shots, and microchip. All dogs are on Heartworm Preventative or Treatment. All dogs should be on Heartworm preventative for life. We will start you out with your first month of Heartworm Prevention.

Click the image below for a 2 minute video of Maverick visiting a volunteer. Maverick loved to cuddle, play with toys, but is also calm and relaxes while you can work from home. He follows commands and routines in the home. Maverick has good potty training skills where he uses the bathroom quickly outside and usually goes in the same spot instead of marking in several places. Maverick does well in the car and enjoys water so giving a bath is easy.
