KATE

KATE has been ADOPTED!

Hi, I'm Kate and I was lost along with my 3 siblings on the streets of Fort Worth. We gave this lady our biggest puppy eyes and she put us in her car and took us to her home in Carrollton. She already has 3 dogs in her home, so she wants to help us find a more permanent home. I would love to find a good family who will take care of me and maybe one of my brothers, Jack and Sawyer, or my sister, Juliet.

I am a Whippet mix and weigh about 23 pounds (as of early Jan). I am an active dog, and I like going outside occasionally. I understand that when you let me outside it’s potty time and then I’d rather play inside with you. I usually bark at unfamiliar noises like the TV or the running water from the kitchen sink, but I usually get used to the TV after a few minutes. Actually, I can’t see the TV from where our foster mommy keeps us, so maybe I just need to see it. I’m a young pup, so I’m still learning to potty outside, but I do understand that outside is where I should do my business! I play well with my siblings, but I would have to get used to other dogs if I’m adopted without one of them. My brother Sawyer and I are used to protecting them from danger. I’m an inside dog and I can’t stand the cold much, but I’ll keep you warm if you let me!

Kate is in a foster home and is not at the shelter. If you would like more information about her or want to set up a time to meet her, contact adoptions@dognkittycity.org
