SAWYER

Hi, I'm Sawyer and I was lost along with my 3 siblings on the streets of Fort Worth. We gave this lady our biggest puppy eyes and she put us in her car and took us to her home in Carrollton. She already has 3 dogs in her home, so she wants to help us find a more permanent home. I would love to find a good family who will take care of me and maybe my brother, Jack, or one of my sisters, Juliet or Kate.
I am a Whippet mix and weigh about 25 pounds (as of early Jan). I am an active dog, and I like going outside to discover new smells. I’ll stand at the door when I’m ready to come in and will follow you wherever you go. I’m getting pretty good at the “Come” command, or maybe I just want to be around you all the time. I’m young, so I’m still learning to potty outside, but I do understand that outside is where I should do my business! I play well with my siblings, but I would have to get used to other dogs if I’m adopted without one of them. My sister Kate and I are used to protecting them from danger. I’m an inside dog and I can’t stand the cold much, but I’ll keep you warm if you let me!
Sawyer is in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you would like to know more about him or make an appointment to meet him, contact adoptions@dognkittycity.org
