Max is a gorgeous chocolate Labrador Retriever with a handicap. To our chagrin, Max is recovering from a recent left front leg amputation. The incision has healed and the fur is growing back covering the surgical scar.
But let us tell you, this limb removal has not dampened his energy or his enthusiasm. He loves everybody, and it shows! He is very responsive to human attention. He would definitely benefit from spending time at a doggie park meeting other canines. He enjoys long walks, but will require some training on how to walk on a leash. We hope he will move into his new home soon, have his own soft bed to lie on. Living in a run until Max gets rehomed will be hard on his amputation.
