PIXIE

PIXIE has been ADOPTED!
Pixie came to the shelter because of a change in her owner’s living arrangements. Unable to fit Pixie into her new lifestyle, the person brought her to the shelter.

Until a foster became available, the little girl lived in total fear at the shelter. Too much noise, too many activities, too many strangers, an unfamiliar environment. She would sit in a corner and shake. She looked so pitiful, everyone felt sorry for her. But most of all, her facial expressions reflected a lot of sadness.

Within 24 hours of being a beloved member of her foster family, Pixie was at ease. She has since made herself at home. Her little tail is wagging again! She follows her foster mom everywhere. She became part of the dog pack and cats are truly uninteresting. She is going through Finishing School for Girls. There are two students, Pixie and her friend Peyton, also a Chihuahua. They are both bright students.
