Max is a Collie mix who was born sometime in the year 2000 and was brought to the shelter with the understanding that he would stay a couple of weeks while his owners relocated. They never came back for him. Several months later, he has been vaccinated, neutered and heartworm treated. His recovery has been slower than normal because of a severe case of heartworm. He is now feeling much better and should lead a healthy life. He is a very sweet, laid back young adult dog. He is very eager to find a home where he will receive plenty of affection.
