Max is a Schnauzer who was brought to a local city pound because his owner was moving. After several weeks, he still had not been adopted by anyone. Once we met him, we liked him so much that we took him into our program instead.

He is adjusting slowly to his new life away from the home he's known for so long, so he is a bit shy around strangers until he gets to know them. Otherwise, he is pretty laid back and keeps to himself. One can see in his eyes the hurt he feels from being abandoned. He will require a home that not only understands his pain, but one that will give him the time needed to bounce back and regain his zest for life. An environment without small children would be best for Max.
