Petie was born in September 2005 and found on the streets of Dallas at four weeks of age. He has been fostered by the lady who found him. Well, this sweet boy is still looking for his permanent home. For a Blue Heeler mix, he is very calm and laid back, even a bit shy, but he warms up once he gets to know you. He will lie with his head on your lap, letting you pet him. Petie is a wonderfully sweet, gentle and adoptable dog. He is very low key and would be great in any household. The only bad thing, he loves to dig holes in the backyard, though he has never dug under the fence. This can be improved or modified with proper training, or by giving him his very own sand box to dig in.
