Roy was turned in to Dog and Kitty City because his adoptive parents did not have the means to take care of him any longer. He has lived with a family with small children and we have been told he was gentle with them. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but he finds cats to be a sport. A cat free home would be best for Roy, and the cat of course, otherwise the temptation would be too great for a fun chase in the house. Roy has a happy disposition. He enjoys being with people. Car rides are one of his favorite pastimes. Being of the Scenthound family, Beagles enjoy regular exercise. Since they are small game hunters, walks on a leash is necessary.
