Rougger is a handsome Beagle mix brought to the shelter because his caretaker had lost his job. For several days after he arrived, he mourned the life he had known. But slowly, he started to feel better and much more comfortable around us. His tail began to wag, and a brightness appeared in his eyes.

Rougger is feeling so much better. Life is good again, but it will be much better when a family permanently adopts him.

He will require exercise, frequent walks, and trips to the doggie park. Another canine friend would probably be very good for him, but not a necessity. We believe he would enjoy the company of children.
