Hi, I'm Muffin. I'm one of the lucky ones. I was at another kill shelter and they were going to euthanize me because I had mange! That's right, because my humans didn't take care of me, I ended up with this terrible skin condition. Things are beginning to look up for me though, as at this shelter, the kind folks have treated me and I'm 100% free of the mites that initially robbed me of my beauty. Don't worry, I am on the way to a complete recovery, just need some parts of my fur to grow back in. But take a look at my pictures now and you'd hardly be able to tell I was ever a mangey mutt.

If you were to meet me, you'd see what a lovely little girl I am. I'm still a happy puppy, ready to play and give you kisses. I enjoy going on walks and playing with the dogs my size at the shelter. I like being on the go and want to be with you. I have recently learned how to sit and they told me I was a very fast learner!

Won't you consider giving me a home, it'll be a real "rags to riches story".
