Sequoia was found at a construction site in a very dangerous location with 3 other siblings. Their mom is a brown, shepherd like dog about 45 lbs, but the dad dog is unknown. Sequoia and her sister Sonoma look alike, however, Sequoia has white on her snout.
The men at the construction site alerted a DKC volunteer about the puppies and one day they teamed up to corral the tiny pups, found hiding in the debris of the construction site. They were all very scared initially.
After one week at our shelter, the puppies have adjusted to being around humans and also other dogs. They enjoy chasing one another, playing tug of war, and splashing in the baby pool.
Since they are all such young pups, they will require someone who can spend time with them while they are growing up and can teach them important skills like housetraining.
