Wilshire is a one year old standard, smooth coat, black and tan full blooded Dachshund. Being young, he is very playful and energetic. A caring owner should understand his needs for exercise. He probably will enjoy chasing tennis balls, going for long walks and playing doggie tug-of-war as well as playing with stuffed toys.

Poor Wilshire spent the first year of his existence crated on a balcony. What a sad life for such a sweet dog! Now that a new chapter in his life has begun, he wants a home with a soft bed, indoor living and lots of affection from his new family. He promises to show a lot of devotion and loyalty to his caretakers, which will be easy for dog of his breed.
